As a company invested in road safety and driver safety, we’re excited to become a part of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA).
The AAAA plays a pivotal role in the recognition, development and support of the automotive aftermarket industry in Australia. Formed in 1980, the AAAA is dedicated to promoting the development of the automotive aftermarket industry through effective services, communication, representation, advocacy and other business development initiatives.
From the very beginning, Andatech has been focused on road safety and driver safety, distributing breathalysers and in 2004, becoming the first company in Australia to receive the Australian Standard AS3547 for a personal hand-held breathalyser under $200.
Today, Andatech is the appointed Australian retail aftermarket distributor for Mobileye, the latest innovation in Advanced Driver Awareness Systems (ADAS). The Mobileye system includes a smart in-car camera that can detect vehicles, lanes, speed signs, and pedestrians, measure their distances to a vehicle, and alert the driver of possible collisions before they occur.
Mobileye technology is already being implemented in major car manufacturers including Hyundai, Ford and Honda, and is now available for aftermarket sale.
