Introducing the ALX3000: an improved way to check yourself before you get behind the wheel. A product that's great for any company, the ALX3000 breathalyzer offers many features that aren't readily available for some other interlock devices- such as altitude sensors, and the ability to store up to 100,000 previous tests.
How the ALX3000 Ignition Interlock Device Works
The ALX3000 connects to your car's ignition system, and requires you to submit a breath sample before you start your car.
If the breath sample shows a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level that is higher than the limit that has been programmed into the device, your car won't start- bear in mind that you will not be able to start your car until you provide a clean breath sample (a breath sample devoid of alcohol).
You will have to wait a maximum of 5 minutes before you are able to take the test again.
Fast & Accurate
Accurate, Reliable Breathalyzer
The ALX3000 utilises a fuel cell sensor in order to detect your BAC to precise levels
Smart Device Sensors
This device has multiple sensors within itself for accurate readings such as temperature, flow, and altitude sensors- making your device operable within most conditions and environments
Lightning Fast Results
The ALX3000 is one of the fastest testing ignition interlock devices on the market- less time testing, and more time driving! The ALX3000 reads accurately, even at higher altitudes and adverse weather conditions, so you can have a peace of mind!
Easy to Use
While most interlocks require specific breathing techniques delays in readings, our device works seamlessly. All you need to do is to hop into your car, turn it on, blow into the device once prompted, then head off on your way!
The ALX3000 offers a sharp OLED display, which shows the status and measurement results crisply, and clearly.
Built- In Features
The ALX3000 has the ability to store the measured reference and result values for up to 500,000 tests within it's control box, and another 500 on the device itself- giving you a better understanding and control over your drinking levels.
Indicates the status and measurement result as sound, indicating when your breath alcohol test has been completed. Your result will appear shortly after the reading has taken place. (Please note that you should not stop blowing into the breathalyzer until the buzzer has made a sound).
Our ALX3000 is compact and easily concealable so that your business is just that- your business. No need to field intrusive questioning from people as to why you have an interlock in your car.
Rolling Retest Function
A rolling retest is another blow test after you begin driving. These re-tests are required to ensure that the driver is not drinking and driving in the vehicle after the first successful blow test.
Rolling re-tests are conducted the exact same way as the first blow test provided. In a voluntary interlock device like the ALX3000, it's a good way to keep yourself or an employee in check as long as the vehicle is being driven.
How the re-test works
- The retest will only occur ONCE during the drive and can be set to occur from 5-60 minutes after the engine is started (you can choose the timing). ie. if set to 34 minutes, it will prompt for a retest after 34 minutes but this will only happen once.
- If the retest fails, the lights from the handset and car will flash and an alarm sound will play from the handset, control box, and car (*if lights and horn are connected) until the engine is switched off. You can choose whether you want to connect the headlights and horn.
- If you don't pass the retest, it will lock you out for 15 minutes.
Benefits of having the ALX3000 Ignition Interlock Breathalyser
The added benefits of having an ignition interlock system are many, but you only need a few to truly see why it would be an asset for yourself, orfor your company.
All drivers can potentially benefit from the installation and use of an ignition interlock system as it effectively prevents drink driving.
Deter the usage of alcohol while driving- for personal use or for company use.
Reduce recidivism (repeat offenses) rates of drink drivers.
